I try to sell bulls by the time they turn 10 years old, run 1 bull per herd for 5 different 10-20 head herds. Sometimes a health issue or a bad attitude will get them gone before the years and I try to avoid buying the overfeed and pampered bulls, they don't seem to last as long as they should in real world conditions.
