SW OH | My old bull is currently 8 or 9 years old. He's very calm and easy to get along with. He's also still getting the job done even though he has bad feet. I've been told by several vets that 6 is the max. At that age they get lazy and VD. He's old enough he's been breeding his daughters and granddaughters. I've had some unusual calf issues that I blame on line breeding. I found a replacement bull in January after 2 years of looking. As soon as the vet confirms he's doing the job my old bull will be gone.
