I think my first music from an electronic machine was before vinyl.
Not sure what the material was but it could break if dropped.

I have no idea what if any music I bought but first, or one of the first, records I remember on the used record player that father brought home was Davy, Davy Crocket.

I was never into buying music recordings, just took the easy way and listened to whatever a radio station played
