Missouri | this is one time bigger is better if you have coarse sand a plastic screen / point will get you more water if you have fine sand your stuck with fine metal screen very restrictive the pump will do fine on a 2 inch well if it can get water , a pitcher pump will give you a good idea of the wells restriction , if you go to a 4 inch well you would probably need to put in a draw pipe but not on a 2 inch
