SE SD | Jon is right. Keep the soil covered, tillage makes it worse. Perennial vegetation is best thing AC Saltlander is probably the best grass to get going in there. If it wont grow foxtail barley or kochia dont bother seeding till that stuff starts to grow. fertilizing those areas and not getting crop to grow makes it worse also. Theres lots of research out there from NDSU and SDSU. Also your local NRCS office can help. | |
