There is aplace to pull with a chain.
I much prefer the straps.
If one is pulling a dead vehicle, it takes the jerk out of the changing speeds.
I have used them to pull myself out many times.
Pull until I get nervous and then go get into the pulled vehicle. You may only move a few inches at a time, but that is better than walking for miles.
