Western Oregon | Been a long time since I have been to an on-farm machinery sale. Loved going to look at the old farm steads, see neighbors and get caught up. Also there are only 2 weekly livestock yards left here for many miles. Most of the on-farm sales were done by the livestock auctioneers. There weren't the big consignment auction lots then, the annual spring consignment machinery sales were at the livestock parking lots. Mom and Dads farm sale was on the farm, in 1980....James | |
