WCIL | Will a 3/4 or 1 hp shallow jet well pump with 1-1/4 suction side be able to suck from a 2" sand point vs a 1-1/4" point? Looks like pumps are rated at 15-20 gpm. Main question is assuming we have plenty of water (and we do) will an 1-1/4 point provide enough water to get the most out of the pump or would a 2" point be better (or worse)? Probably be around 20 feet deep in a sand vein in the river bottom. Planning to fill a 2500 cone tank for spraying and also washing equipment etc. | |
