Middle Tennessee | Thanks for sharing your video. I enjoyed looking at all the different pieces of equipment that got auctioned off. Nice looking Ford single axle grain truck ( looks really nice ). Here in Middle Tennessee it seems we don’t have all the different types of farm equipment we did 20 to 25 years ago. I am like others that said it was a community event and you saw all your friends and neighbors at a farm auction. A lot of my equipment came from farm equipment auctions ( mainly estate auctions ) , specially all my tillage equipment. But live farm equipment auctions are becoming rarer, they saying online auctions getting more buyers. Maybe I old fashion, don’t want to change, but I think smaller, older farm equipment still brings good money at live in person auctions, specially if there are two or three tractors that are nice to draw people in for. I also think with a live auction it good way to get rid of all the small items ( like tools, spare parts, and oil and fluids and miscellaneous farm items ).
