Do you have auto climate controls with an LCD that shows set temp? On my TG210 there's a little book symbol that shows up in that LCD if it detects a fault. I don't recall specifics but believe it either shows a code or there is a way to tell what it thinks problem is. Yours may be different, but check owners manual if you haven't.

If it's detecting a problem figuring out what the computer thinks is awry will likely give you an idea what you're looking for, or if it has the capability to show fault and isn't that also may be a useful data point.

If you put gauges on, did you try jumpering limit switch connectors to see if that changed anything?
