Glasgow, Ky | The farming community has changed much since then. Auctions back then were a community social event with friendships cementing the event. There were many full time and part time farmers back then and everyone generally stayed in their own lane regarding renting land. Many fewer farmers now and a lot of ego’s and jealousy in play.
Even AgTalk is a good example of this. There is a lot of animosity expressed on here now that was not present or deemed acceptable years ago. | |
