coast of Maine
Oil at 100$ is relatively cheap comparing the general inflation trends. So is fertlizer. That beings said the price we all receive really blows. We are all in a world market now.Making ag a real bear. One answer is all imports of any item must have the same environmental care, employee wage and safety, chem rules as we mist maintain.I think most here know that very well. When a pickup can cost easily 100 grand,an acre 20 grand, and the farmer works 3 x the hours of the local avg joe,,when will this become a very bad issue?...I hope all of you withstand the stress well.I often wonder of ag future and then I realize most of us have it way better than 95 % of reg folks in economic squeezes.
