Here's a quick synopsis from the UW on P/K stratification in our notill soils. Would be nice to see the actual numbers on both notill vs long-term tillage fields, however that would take a bit of digging for data that I dont have time for over breakfast right now.

My concern about P and K stratification is the impact when drought occurs. If the top 6 inches of soil is dried out and P and K are not in soil solution, how does the plant get these nutrients into the plant?
