Boone your absolutely right about the Illinois Estate Tax I saw it impact a farm family that failed to do any estate planning before the parents (who owned all of the real estate) died. Their three sons paid dearly for their mistake with each writing large 6 figure checks to cover the tax liabilities.
sad thing is, it was completely avoidable.
Please explain the options to avoid this nightmare?
