Central NC | We took a ride from north of Raleigh NC and southeast thru Kinston and to the coast going thru Jones county which plants a lot of cotton. 150 mile trip
It’s drier than I’ve ever seen for this time of year, drainage ditches dry or water way down, lots of corn planted, anywhere from 8” tall to barely come up, some tobacco planted looks like from 2 weeks ago to last week, maybe some cotton planted, looks like something already planted on squared off ridges, saw 1 pivot running,
Dirt has been worked thru wet spots and even that’s dusty, rarely saw any fields that looked like were worked damp
Had 4 days of 90 last week, cold front yesterday, so 2 days of lows near 40, no rain here at home since I forgot,
Other than a tenth or so
Luckily I don’t have any skin in the game now
