Custer County, Nebraska | Nothing for me yet. Way too dry. Agronomist talking about needing 1.5 inches of irrigation in order to even plant. I refuse to irrigate a crop up in these conditions.
Even if you can get a planter in the ground there is no moisture to germinate anything. In my opinion it is much drier this time of year even compared to 2012.
I'm going to wait for rain even if that means I'm planting irrigated corn way past the insurance deadline. | |
