SW WI | For me and my wife, coasting looks more like giving up rented land to cash crop, miles away from “home” and just doing our livestock chores.
Every day when I’m feeding my cattle, I daydream…..no working off farm for my wife, no never ending machinery upgrades for our cash crop part of the farm…..just feed, bed cattle, haul poop….nice and simple.
I don’t have a bad landlord….but it still is a landlord. Nothing like the only person you have to answer to is the guy in the mirror.
