That is a good point. A farm is a business as well as a lifestyle. Wanting to farm is really no different than a child that wants to run a different business and live a different lifestyle. In my opinion pivoting to support, grow, and finance what the child actually wants to do should take priority over trying to make the child fit into the business and lifestyle that the parent chose.
