My three kids definitely have an affection to owning land. I don't anticipate any of them selling the farmland they inherit unless some dire straits come about to them. Their grandparents led them to believe that way as much as their parents.  I think they will desire the long term income rather than the lump sum of selling.

Cash has a way of getting gone. Land sticks around.
