Great post. When you cash in a generational farm instead of continuing it, basically you are cashing in on the sweat and tears of the previous generations.
And at the same time making it much more difficult for your kids to make something as well.
My moms side through horrendous business planning lost theirs and my dads side was rented and sold before given any chance otherwise. To say this has been a source of frustration is putting it mildly as I try to not do the same thing to my own son if he chooses to continue this. |
