Subject: RE: Urea on corn

I was told the inhibitor was not financially viable .
I can get a regular tractor in the field. It is a bugger to get a 16 row Kinze in.
WE got the NH3 on last fall, so I am not going to ask someone to try and do this.
It is a pretty tight road with 90 degree corners. It is steep enough the tank would probably jackknife the bar on the corners.
To get the timing right I will have to road a tractor around 25 miles round trip
I am thinking about going with mostly AMS. It is around $1.60 per pound of N, but I will have some S left over for next year probably.
Plus it won't evaporate.
I am thinking the most bang for the buck will be around 100 lbs of N. Probably won't make 200 but it won't any way.
