NEMO | 1986, you have some interesting thoughts there. I guess I'd take the opposing view on part of them. To say a 7/8 Simm animal is a mut, we will have to disagree. To say that you should only buy breeding stock that is PB and linebred exclusively, well, that's probably less than half right, and not many breeders are doing that, especially in lesser breeds like Simm, Gelb, Char, Lim. We do agree on using proven sires, and I'll take it a step further and say I really like proven cows out of proven sires, they make great donors and generally real consistent results | |
