central mich

That is a lot of it. And they have better educated peolple and they far out work us. And that is really true. Virtually all of the graduate students in my engineering school were from asia. Most from India. And today Russia has about 1/2 the population of the US. Yet Russia graduates about 400,000 engineers and the US about a 100,000. Yet many in the US somehow seem jeolus or privileged yet they will not get off their butt and study STEM subjects if they have the IQ to even compete.
And one can see some of that in the comments above that somehow the oil in Iran and the ME belongs to the US. The fact is to own anything you have pay a fair price for your purchase.. The days of the UK empire and later the US empire of running around the world of obtain any product for nothing or a greatly reduced price are pretty much gone.

As far as China is concerned our society would not function at all without product from China and Asia. The US labor unions in the US killed productivity but the US government also caused inflation which drove union demands. So we all argue who is best Republicans or Democrats and the fact our political system is totally corrupt so here we are on a sinking ship. But our mentality is
structured what will the government give me. As far as farm programs I left all that behind many years ago and all farmers should do the same.
