That corn looks deep.... must be the photo angle.
Another 1/2" overnight on top of 2.4" last evening with hail, tornadoes and the such in E. Iowa. Puts us a little over 7" for April ......more heavy stuff predicted today and again Friday. Doesn't look like many wheels turning until May unless this pattern changes in a hurry. We are beyond saturated.

Back to the markets ...... Market report from Edgewood, IA still breaking record highs for baby calves. Last week 70# Black Heifer calf..... $24.00/#  That is $1680 for a 70# calf !!!
Really makes a guy wonder why I have all these calves around sucking on their mommas.    ; )
