West Central Illinois | It seems like just depends on the vet because every sale around here seems different. One sale barn north of me they'll age cows and call them as old as 9 and 10 yr olds, never understood how they make that assumption. Other sale barn like the one i sold at last week they age up to 6 yrs old after that they'll just call them solids. I guess it just goes to show you at buying older cows don't put too much stock in what they call brokens I guess if they look fat and healthy take them home. | |
