Quebec | When world events scare people, people buy gold*, not BTCs. Both serve as hedges against fiat currency, but BTCs is at best, a transitory vessel of value for the more, ahem, optimistic among us. You are still buying fiat currency with your BTCs to accomplish anything of value with them. And I would argue that gold has the biggest army - the entire world's armies.
