Or single digit protein.
High yield and high protein wheat takes stupid N. and several trips to do it. I’d say it takes every bit as much N as a good corn crop. However spending some money on N vs taking a bath on low pro doesn’t reach many guys it seems.
Corn takes heat much better for us and pretty comparable cost to grow overall.
