Yes, many of my classmates went and never came back. At high school reunions there would be a list of classmates that died or were MIA in vietnam. I'm not going to talk about my experience. Please do not say 'thanks for your service'. No one should say, nor does anyone who's done it, want thanks for dropping napalm or agent orange on civilian villages, or B52 crews carpet bombing Hanoi civilians after breakfast on Guam because someone in DC thought we could bomb them into submission...that didn't work and neither will "bombing Iran into the stone age" as 45 has threatened.
