| There’s nothing wrong with having your own opinion. In my opinion the constant calls for impeachment are due to the financial ties between the elites and politicians being discovered and severed. By that I don’t just mean financial incentives to themselves personally but also the financial ties that allows programs that keep the public voting for them.
That does still leave the possibility of the elites wanting to sever those connections though and thus the possibility of the elites all being on one side.
I don’t know if whether it is mostly republican or Democrat owned is really important. The one thing that has been constant is that their message was extremely coordinated. They all reached the same conclusion at the same time and often even worded their messaging exactly the same. By all I mean the vast majority of what is considered the mainstream media. The truly independent media had more variety.
As far as individual journalists being mostly liberal that is entirely possible. Many have reported that they had to stay within certain agendas though and weren’t free to report as they saw it and that was evident by the similarities in their messaging, even under apparently different ownerships. There was some connection between them that controlled the messaging. For some reason they were very consistent in showing their love of Biden and their hatred of Trump.
The media is quite likely the most powerful means available for controlling the public. I think it is foolish to assume that the elites do not wield their influence in the messaging through the media. For some reason they choose to constantly elevate Biden yet constantly bash Trump.
I have actually thought quite a bit about Trump being on the same “team” as the rest of the elites since he first got in office the first time. The problem I have is that every time I consider that I find too many inconsistencies in that theory.
So at this point in time while I can’t rule it out completely I don’t believe it is true. One thing that I keep thinking about is how that would be the ultimate ruse though. Fooling everyone to follow one of their own while believing he is different. But then the counter argument to that is that the best method for them to remove him as their obstacle would be to get the public to consider him as one of their own. That would turn the public sentiment away from him to someone that they can control.
At this point in time all we can do is take our best guess. It’s just too bad that the divisions that have been seeded run so deep that most are unable to have a proper discussion about it.
