He was a Democrat in the same way that I'm a Democrat at this point. He wasn't a politican or someone who had any affect on policy. He was just a guy who said he was a Democrat. When he ran for office? He ran as a Republican. Maybe he just said he was a Democrat when he thought that Democrats had power?

You were bringing up Trumps failures at business and now you have a problem with his son’s success.
Because his son's "success" at this point looks an awful lot like Nepotistic grifting by buying large shares of companies about to get large Govt contracts.
You ignore the Pelosi’s on your side and pretend this type of thing is something new.
If you look at Pelosi's portfolio, it's all typical investments in the stock market. Large Tech stocks, Amazon, NVIDIA, etc, etc. It's not like Paul Pelosi suddenly invested in some little startup about to get a billion dollar Govt contract. There's a marked difference.
The covid fiasco was likely the biggest wealth transfer from the average working Joe to the elite in history and it was brought to you curtesy of the swamp, not covid. Some members of the public still praise those who advised the government and who also just happened to also be the biggest recipients of that grift.
That would be the idiocy of Trumps tax cuts. But, whatever.
You think you are discovering something new. The truth is that it was happening before too. It is quite likely that you argued against others who were trying to tell you it was happening. Now I’ll go down a road I have so often on this site. I am quite certain that there is money being made because of ties to the Trump administration. I am quite certain that it happened with the previous administration also I am quite certain that it happened with every administration. I am quite certain that it is not a new phenomenon. I am quite certain that the past grifting was at levels higher than we know about and thus it is impossible to know that it is higher than it ever has been in the past. Are you able to admit that you also do not know?
