Boone Co. Iowa | Assuming planting progress comes out today.
Iowa crop insurance date for planting corn was Friday the 10th of April.
Called a farmer / seed dealer who is always one of the first planting. He said (Friday) that he was in no hurry hadn't even looked at soil temps yet. Pretty wet and cool here in my neighborhood.
Maybe it is the corn price but no one too excited about it.
