As far as I can tell, the USA invented the radical world by helping the UK overthrow an Iranian regime to defend the UK’s oil investments there. We didn’t even have investments in Iran at the time.

Imagine if in the early 1900’s Congress and the executive office had been badly mismanaging USA finances and were at a point of fiscal desperation. So China comes along and offers the USA enough money to mostly bail the USA out in exchange for all mineral rights in the USA for 60 years.

The USA is halfway bailed out by this cash influx. A few years later as China is exploring the USA for oil they find a bunch of it. They start running over farmers land and tearing roads and railroads up, whatever it takes to get the oil that they had bought from us for what was obviously a steal of a deal 15 years after the agreement was made.

By the time 30 years post agreement rolls around, USA citizens begin to realize that Congress and the President at the time had sold their future. This was a Congress and President many of them had never even voted for. Heck, many of them weren’t even alive when Congress and the President sold their future out from under them. So they elect a Congress and President that feels the way they feel and that Congress and President declares that the agreement made 30 years prior was null and void. The new Congress and President are happy to pay fair market value to China for their infrastructure and so on but they aren’t going to put up with an entire generation of natural resources and national growth being devoured by an adversary because of an agreement none of them had a say in.

Well China isn’t too happy about that so they get Russia all riled up, warning Russia that if the USA keeps going the way they are going, the USA will eventually ally with all of Europe and Canada and will put Russia in a tough position in terms of being able to defend itself.

So Russia, having been convinced by China that keeping the USA in check is a matter of national security, works in tandem with China to subvert USA elections and elect a Congress and President that is friendly to both China and Russia.

The USA citizens see through it and they start bombing the Russian and Chinese embassies in the USA. They overthrow the new President and Congress and overall just act really uncivilized from the perspective of China and Russia. Of course China and Russia portray this as evidence that USA citizens are scoundrels, especially the new leadership that the USA citizens elected after the overthrow the government Russia and China had propped up.

How would you feel if that had been the history of the USA? You would be spending your every waking hour plotting how to wreak havoc on China and Russia, especially if your kids had been killed in one of the bombings that had recently been sent your way as a new push to prevent the USA from rising up and taking it’s place amongst the other nations as a nuclear power.

This whole imaginary story about a horrible history the USA could have experienced is very real to Iran. It is the exact history they have lived.

We created the terrorists over there. We made them into terrorists with our actions over the last 75 to 100 years. We created the extremism that plagued the world. I guess I don’t feel like our actions are in alignment with a non-imperialistic superpower. No, we aren’t over there trying to live there. But we do want to have a monopoly on the best tech and a monopoly on the world’s natural resources and we’re willing to create a lot of bad blood to get it done.

Our kids and grandkids will have to deal with the extremists President Trump is creating today just like we are having to deal with the extremists created from Eisenhower (through now declassified CIA operations) one through modern times.
