He made a lot of donations to democrats and was a Democrat. When he is an elite himself he doesn’t need to be in politics to hang around with political elites. He donated a lot of money to democrats politicians. That is likely why they stayed silent. That is the way that world works and it doesn’t matter what side of the isle it is. Both sides are corrupt.
