Southern Missouri
Aerial spray drift is definitely a concern with herbicides, we kinda think it drifts the same way with anything else in the tank , (how the heck can it not be ) you can go back through all my post on here and get what we think about aerial spray with a breeze , let alone a wind , there’s a guys add I saw on facebook where he’s advertising his helicopter business and in his own add fungicide on corn his pass along the edge in his video the spray is drifting completely away from the rows along the edge , no coverage there at all , the advantage drone operators have is sleeping during the day and flying at night when it’s good and calm , so very easy to do , they also have the advantage of being able to plainly see their spray coming out of the drone while they’re on truck at side of field , it’s not hard at all , it’s the operator. Same as any aerial job .Your neighbor needs to hire an operator that gives a crap and knows his crap . As always JMHO
