| Article state Trumps political numbers are being driven down from this so it makes no sense politically to engage
It only makes sense if you put yourself in the narcissistic mind of our leader. Coming off Venezuela all it took was Israel to stroke his ego that Iran would be a simple and even greater victory. Combined with a surrounding of yes men and firing of generals who dared speak up. You have a leader who starts a war
Now trump has started to realize the huge mistake he started and is trying desperately to come up with a contrived win for USA. Started when Trump on truth social claimed peace because he would base negotiations off Iran 10 point peace plan. He than had to back track when political winds blew against him about allowing Iran to control strait and receive billions once sanctions were lifted
Now he has started the pivot to claim victory by claiming hundreds of cargo ships are lining up in the gulf of “America”. He also stated that this is such a huge success that he has even thought of renaming it to the gulf of Trump.
This is classic Trump 2.0. He just does not have the guardrails this term to rein him in. Who knows he might even drop a nuclear bomb on a hurricane this term, because who is left to say no | |
