If you were leaning corn because of crop insurance/big beautiful bill insurance subsidies/poor economics of competitive crops to corn, I think Nitrogen is what was sold/bought during prepay (not p&k). I would bet majority of the “fringe acres/acre shift areas” farmers have tank systems on-farm for receiving UAN or some sort of shed they back haul dry fert into as standard operating. Backhauling fert after delivering grain is almost “free” hauling. | |
