E.Central MN | I'm not saying they're to blame for the corruption, they're just unwilling to pass legislation that would curtail the money the lobbyists funnel to them for "campaign" funding purposes. The Supreme Court said doing that would be an infringement on the free speech rights of wealthy campaign donors....the same donors that financially have the ability to buy as many media infomercial spots as their hearts desire which indicates there was no free speech infringement by campaign finance laws in the first place. | |
