WCWI | Im also what I consider young and Im in the send it camp aswell. That being said run the numbers and male sure YOU feel comfortable. There may be alittle queezy feeling in your stomach but thats normal.
A neighbor approached me last year about selling his herd of 26 in the fall of 26. I figured I would be able to save enough money to buy the heard outright by the time he was ready as I'm not a fan of borrowing money on bred cows. However he called me last fall and said he wanted to sell then, I ran the numbers and borrowed more than I wanted but I still feel confident it was the right decision.
We do sell most of or beef direct to consumer also though so going forward when the market drops Im not really concerned. | |
