| WCWI - 4/10/2026 22:02 I am not hot on borrowing money, but if you are young, have a relatively secure land base for feed/or a reliable low cost feed source I will not tell you not to do it, I personally would want my break even for the the borrowed money to work at about 2.50/lb. on the calves if sold as 5-600# feeders.
$1250 for 500 pound calves would spur another huge round of cow liquidation.
And currently won’t buy a day old dairy cross.
