Malta, Illinois | Definitely accurate here. A very large percentage of guys fall apply P+K here. There is still a lot of fall anhydrous too so of course that is paid for. The guys that use UAN likely prepaid as well since most retailers were advising to get it paid for right after the first of the year. I am sure there are a lot of guys who still do spring fertilizer and don't prepay but I think in this area that 80% number would not be too far off on prepay. | |
