NE South Dakota Clark, SD | I have more questions and really no answers. Others have pointed out some good ideas. Ultimately you need to find the root cause.
This was bad math by me "30-50 rows would be 600 to 1500 feet depending on row spacing, that would be 1/4 to 1/2 the field if it is a square quarter."
Should have been 75-125 feet.
Grid sampled to determine "good" fertility?
What size grids?
How long has the field been farmed as current field size?
Is it a straight line event going by your yield monitor?
How much yield decrease?
I have seen fertility differences from farming practices 30-50 years ago.
Everyone's opinion of "Well Tiled" is different.
Full pattern?
Spot tiled?
What spacing?
What is the Ksat of the soils at tile depth?
Are mains large enough to handle the laterals and intakes?
Is the outlet on your ground or does it go onto a neighbors?
Is there other tile going into the mains up hill from you?
