Wisconsin
$150/barrel crude in today's dollar is not noteworthy. The possibility of $500 crude or $20 gas is what all the hype is about, seems to me that Iran will be "pacified" before that.

The real story is natural gas, if this "leaves a mark", hopefully it will be the end of ridiculous "electrification" based on natural gas powered electrical generation. In the 70's, much of the Northeast was heated with fuel oil boilers running 365days a year for hot water, and the US still used a fair bit of oil for electric generation, I think we've learned from that, but have also made bad choices based on cheap wholesale NG.
