Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | You need weight on each unit ---either put road rock in the insecticide boxes
or years back we used a concrete 125# weight formed to fit where the insecticide boxes were (we poured them)
Then to compensate for too much down force when you don't need it Reduced inner diameter gauge wheels (RID gauge wheels)
Best of everything and cheap --RID wheels help eliminate hatchet roots where the seed trench was packed
You start adding precision stuff initial is expensive-- maintenance PIA expensive
AS said above 4 MPH better than 5 takes time to cut through everything
Good luck been there owned a Kinze or JD planter till 2011 --- love my Case planter
