Mid-Michigan | Been through mostly good times. Mostly due to interest rates. As a general rule interest and a good off farm job has allowed me to make it. It's not quite as hard as carter's embargo days and 18% but its getting very close. Really, really glad my big payment days are behind me. I really don't see things getting a lot better. A different kind of misery but just a slow bleed out like before. Making payments is going to be hard for young guys. When I had to sell corn for $1.46 and paying 18% was hard. All my off farm income went to the farm
