| I would suggest hire the guy with precision system. Then plant similar field yourself. *I strongly agree driving slower might be issue*. I may have put weight in insecticide box behind seed box in 7000 JD and filled seed boxes to keep over half full as much as possible.
Called it Redneck downpressure. But see if seeding additions worth it.
But I went to hiring soybean planting at 60, now hired corn planting. As narrow rows planting supposed to give +15% better yield. Faster canopy, easier harvest…. In my case going from bags to bulk. Hiring guy with tender, innoculant included.. one day planting, zero effort.
Yep officially Á tillage farmer now. I actually bought a better planter. Spend hours figuring it out, got offer from relative to plant corn. I sold it. | |
