CRP is about as helpful to the US taxpayer as the plague.

Young (or old) cattle producers might even rent or buy some land if the taxpayer wasn't renting it at (often) above market rate.

And maybe all that idle land still gets purchased for recreation/hunting/homes but if CRP goes away at least the taxpayer isnt getting stabbed any longer.



You forgot a sentence in your rant so i added it for you.

But if subsidies and bailouts such as Farmer Bridge Assistant Program, ECAP, SDRP etc., etc., etc. go away at least the taxpayer isn't getting stabbed any longer.
