Subject: Let the market decide.. consumer choice.

I’m all for ethanol but I’d like to hear your solution for increasing demand. How do you overcome the sentiment of gas stations with big signs advertising “ETHANOL FREE GAS?”

There are some places.. Louisiana maybe.. Southeast US.. where Crude from Venezuela (If they ever get that built back up) lays in at a price which is very competitive.. flip side.. E -85 in a flex fuel vehicle.. sold in the upper Midwest (ethanol country) from a distribution system that is competitive.. is likewise gonna be hard to beat.

AND that's the point the consumer benefits from the efficiency gains.  We have a retailer whom is very competitive with E-30.. next town.. is selling E-85 at a higher price. (Say what?!?)

We currently wouldn't have the capacity to sell E-30 nationwide now anyway.. and we might have access to export markets that NEED an octane booster.. so again let the market figure it out.. big crop.. cheap ethanol.. next year.. foreign demand spike.. or a smaller crop.. the marginal gallon makes supply meet demand at X price.

If were asking for E-15.. might as well ask for E-30.. and get this party started.

"Ethanol Free" gas is more expensive here.. the station pushing it.. without access to cheaper Ethanol (relationship with major refiner) went under.. replaced by an outfit which could sell Ethanol (here.

"Your mileage may very."
