Ne Colorado | Should be fine. Iv got one and a jd equivalent of that and get on fine. One thing to consider if your spreading dry stuff it more or less drops it out to back. Doesn’t really spread it. We tried dry compost in them thinking it would evenly spread it the width of the tractor and it actually only spread about a 4 foot swath behind the beater. But wet stuff is a good time.
I’d like to take the horizontal beater off one of them and and attach two small vertical beaters on there somehow. I think they would be much more versatile for wet stuff or compost. Especially on dryland we’re your only spreading about 1-2 tons per acre on those mile long stretch’s. Might have a wider swath as well. | |
