Hennepin, IL | Are you disappointed in spacing/singulation, or emergence? If emergence, you need to pinpoint why. I doubt slowing down from 5ish mph will gain you much more even emergence given what you've said and also you dont have major ride quality issues. Need to figure out how many of those 5-6k seeds didnt emerge, got planted too deep/shallow, died, or ????. Otherwise youre just stabbing in the dark. Youve got the low hanging fruit fairly covered on the planter, but it would be good to know if you can watch downforce or if youre doing the set and forget method. | |
