I think that the US should change some of the regulations so that more land is available for livestock production such as occasional rotational grazing on long term CRP parcels. One serious issue for corn production is the sourcing of fertilizer much of which comes thru the Strait of Hormuz or is purchased from a Canadian govt approved monopoly. Foreign wars are about as helpful to American ag as the plague.
That one is easy. Take it out of crp. Why get paid for crp and be able to graze it? |
